development experience. She currently serves as a Community Manager at Google in New York City.

Prior to joining Google, Esther served as Community and Marketing Manager at Outside.in and then at Patch.com (Outside.in was was acquired by AOL, Inc. and merged with Patch.com).

Esther is also a freelance writer and creative with a passion for the food, health, lifestyle and travel verticals. Her client list includes  TheFasterTimes.com, FlaNboyantEats.com, Wifeville.com and MountSinai.org. She can also be found writing about the foods of her childhood on her personal food blog, where she asks her readers one of life’s most important questions: Y’all Hungary?

Passionate about writing and also about connecting with others, Esther finds herself drawn to both traditional and newer forms of communication and media.  She has contributed to publications of all types, from dailies to annuals, with circulations from 1K to over 3M, including national magazines (Sports Illustrated), local newspapers (C-VILLE), literary journals (Meridian), e-newsletters (The Black Book Buzz) and award-winning websites (WhiteHouseTapes.org). Her expertise has also served her well at such highly-respected organizations as The United States Chamber of Commerce and The Miller Center of Public Affairs.

Born to an American father and a Hungarian mother, Esther grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, spending her summers in Budapest. She holds a B.A. with distinction from the
University of Virginia, where she studied English, American Studies and Foreign Affairs. She lives in Brooklyn with her dog, Alfie.
