Enjoy some of my go-to biz resources (and other faves!) to help you in your journey. Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means I might earn a small commission if you love something as much as my team and I do... but I only recommend what we actually use ourselves!
I originally set up my online business up on Kajabi, but in the end I really wanted something super simple, with powerful checkout features, AND a lifetime deal. Thrivecart fit the bill.
Upwork is a global freelancing marketplace that I've really learned to love since I started working remotely from abroad. I use it to hire global talent, but I'm also a Top Rated Plus, Expert-Vetted Upworker myself.
The Tonic team designs completely customizable Showit website templates for modern, stylish creatives — that's us, y'all! If you like the look of this site, take a peek.
If you want a gorgeous site but want to make it easy (are you noticing a theme here?) and SEO-friendly, check out Showit. A platform originally designed for photographers, it's becoming my go-to.
Maybe it's because I used to work there, but my team and I get our work done in Google Workspace. One of my open Chrome tabs almost always points to Docs, Sheets, Drive or Gmail.
Bench offers professional bookkeeping services at a reasonable price point. It takes a ton off of my plate and simplifies my record-keeping processes. Trust me, let the pros handle your books!
Tools of the Trade
A MUST for any digital nomad or expat, Traveling Mailbox gets your mail to you no matter where you are.
I fire up YNAB every morning! I'm super proud to be a Create Anywhere Millionaire™ who dug herself out of debt.
I'm pumped to share some of my very favorite things for business, travel, and life in general. I like nice things, but I'm also bougie on a budget (just because I can pay top dollar doesn't mean I want to!), so check out my finds (and please send me your faves, too!).
The Paprika app helps you organize recipes, make meal plans, and create grocery lists. Our family loves it!
I've tried lots of different tools (and was a long-time Trello user), but I love the flexibility and power of ClickUp. If you want an all-in-one tool, give it a go.
Radio was one of my first loves, so audio books bring me great joy! I love to listen on a good walk.
Email ping-pong to schedule a meeting? That's a waste of time, and a hard no. Use Calendly to solve this problem for good.
I have ADHD, so if something isn't written down, I forget it! Rev uses both real-life humans and AI to make transcripts, fast. I love it.
Anyone (yes, even you or your VA!) can create perfectly on-brand marketing materials with Canva. It's a lifesaver!
If you find most stock photography cringeworthy, join and create a beautiful, authentic, modern brand. Plus, it now includes stock video!
I know I might be biased, but I think our community is an amazing resource to design the life you want.
Wise is perfect for digital nomads or expats who need to spend, receive or send money internationally.
If you are starting out as a creator, Veed is a simple and easy to use video editing tool.
I may only own one share of Amazon stock, but having it makes me feel slightly better about the percentage of my household income that I give to Jeff Bezos for making my life easier.
